Kevin Smith pwns you.

If you’re not reading his blog, why not? Today he posted a thoughtful piece about everyone’s favorite service industry, and earlier this month he told the harrowing, true story of Jay (of Jay and Silent Bob) getting detoxed.

Thanks to J. for the pointer. Not everyone needs to keep a blog but it’s good when some do.

    Holy pointlessly-wide-page-layout, Batman!

I had a friend in college who dated a stripper and thus hung out at their bar a good bit. And all I can say is that that is the most true to life blog ever written. Simply awesome.

The detox series is one of the best pieces of writing I’ve read in ages. I’m almost never disappointed when reading his blog.

Hm, I didn’t realize he had a blog. Added to my list of ones worth reading.

The entry on strip clubs reminds me of my days servicing ATMs. There’s no safer place for a guy to open up a machine containing $80,000 in cash than a strip club – no one except the waitresses will notice you’re there.

The only thing with Kevin Smith’s blog that I could do without is the graphic description of his morning(and sometimes other time periods) shits. I really know too much about the guy from reading his blog…e.g. he’s never had sex with his wife without a shirt on…

See, this was all the lunchtime rage weeks ago around here.

That’s what you get for moving west of the Mississippi.

I didn’t start readng it till he posted the “Me and My Shadow” set of posts. Damn thing made me tear up. I normally save that for phone commercials.

I read \’e2\’80\’9cMe and My Shadow\’e2\’80\’9d today. Being a New Jersey local, Kevin Smith has something of a hometown heros appeal to me, but I’ll never think about him and Jason Mewels the same way again.

The way he ends each segment, you can tell that he’s a comic book writer. In next week’s issue…. the shit hit’s the fan. Again!
