[...] Okay, fine, I’m going to link to something E3 related… Scott Jennings went and had a run in with Paris Hilton’s security.\'c2\~ She was there whoring her new video game (which I’m sure she was totally involved in the design of), only she couldn’t remember the right name of it.\'c2\~ And surprisingly, even though she was whoring at E3, she didn’t actually look completely like one.
Psychochild, you look nothing like I thought you would. I figured you'd be clean-cut with your hair parted on the left. Who knew.
The stars of the show for me in the MMOG space were Conan, Pirates of the Burning Sea, and Tabula Rasa. Of the three I think Conan may have the best chance at raw subscriptions for the short term, but all three will capture and keep a dedicated audience.

Will they be WoW killers? I consider that an irrelevant comparison.

I agree that there were gems hidden in Kentia, but it was alot harder to find the gems before than it was this year. Things were lighter and brighter and better organized. There were actual aisles and such and you still had your usual meeting rooms in the back. It was easier to see the standouts and I actually wished I had more time to spend more time in Kentia this year rather than hoping to make it out alive. ;)

Interesting comment about Kentia, Sachant. That was always my personal favorite hall, where you could go to find random small developers showing random small games. It's the place I liked to go to find the gems that didn't have the money to look good without actually being good, so it was about the only hall that I felt was still honest or "old school." I didn't get to see Kentia this year, but I heard from a friend with a similar opinion of it in past years that it was ruined this year, as it didn't have the "sludge" (as you call it) of previous years.

They had the magazine at the Vanguard booth down in Kentia. I'm still stunned at Kentia's transformation from sludge pit to valid show area.
