Police seize video games in a killer’s apartment based on Jack Thompson’s advice.

“Nobody shoots anybody in the face unless you’re a hit man or a video gamer,” Thompson told the paper.

    Now, I don’t believe that video games cause violence. I do however find it amusing that the video game rep (Who this quote is from) is switching the blame to TV and our culture of violence. I just hear him in my mind going

    “DUDE! It’s not our fault, they did it!”

    Because blaming TV is so different than blaming video games. And of course, our culture of violence is is no way reflected in any video games.

    Whenever ol’ Jack goes blaming the video games for the deline in society, I have to wonder how I’m still alive. Think of how violent Tom and Jerry was. Or the Coyote and Roadrunner! Somehow I’ve not strapped an Acme rocket to my back while wearing roller skates in an effort to somehow get to work on time and avoid the gridlock.

    But it’s only a matter of time!
