No, Really, They Frighten Me A Lot

She really doesn’t like pickles.
I’m not sure what the logic is behind some of this.

“I’m really scared of pickles.”
“Come with us to the pickle factory!”
“OK!”

    I’m not going to sit here and listen to you impugn the character of Maury Povich. That man has single handedly created a whole new industry in the form of juvenile delinquent boot camps, thereby providing jobs to countless idiots who wanted to be marines but didn’t have the balls to actually join up.

    And don’t forget his bringing to national attention the plight of malformed freaks and oddities of all stripes. He’s a saint, and I’ll hear no argument about it.

    What in the world could do that to someone? That’s just freaky. Was she molested with pickles when she was a child or what?

    On a mostly unrelated note, for the past two years I’ve been trying to find a good source for pre-sliced sweet pickles. I’ve tried dozens of stores and several online distributors, but I can’t find any (an “Bread & Butter Slices” don’t count, those aren’t really sweet pickles). If anyone knows of a good source I’d love to hear about it.

    Surely I’m not the only person around that likes sweet pickle slices on sandwhiches. I’m tired of slicing them myself all the time.

    I loved the B&W scene in the pickle factory which looked like a B-horror movie.

    Fear can be irrational. If you work yourself up you can convince yourself you’re in mortal danger. I watched one of these episodes once waiting for my car and they basically had to get to the point where they work through the fear and see there’s nothing to it. It’s mildly amusing for about as long as the video ran.
