    I’m not so much surprised that their beta testing found that it wasn’t going to work as I am that they went with their testers views on it rather than their own vision at launch. I was pretty much betting on the pricing scheme having to fail on them in practice before they got around to changing it.

    The operative words here are “for the game\’e2\’80\’99s release.” My guess is that the premium packages greatly unbalanced the “new” game, but in time, it won’t have such an impact. So, chances are, the tiered package will be released at a later date – maybe at the time of their first expansion?

    I actually beta’d for a bit for the hell of it. They sent out a survey and would assume overwhelming responses of not likey no usey tilted the table.

    They could’ve offered items that didn’t affect gameplay and I’m sure there would’ve been a lot less nays. Alternatives must be HARD.

    Eh, the game is ATROCIOUS so it doesn’t matter anyway. Thank god for free tri er betas so you know whether or not the game is worth purchasing (wish I had gotten into the Shadowbane beta :/)

    I’m just glad that they listened to us testers. What a horrid system. Nice to see that they are indeed listening, but even that won’t save the game.

    Erm. Boring I guess is the nicest way to put it.

    Right, because Lum has never slung mud at an MMO before.

    I’m pretty sure changing the subscription model isn’t going to make Archlord suck less, but I suppose it’s worth a try.
