Granted, he's not solely responsible for any of them. But if you want to deride the hype, I think it makes sense to recognize that the reason people are paying attention is that Kapor's efforts have led to what was, ex ante, a non-obvious positive outcome more than once. But if you want to deride the hype, I think it makes sense to recognize that the reason people are paying attention is that Kapor’s efforts have led to what was, ex ante, a non-obvious positive outcome more than once.
