Artheos. I'm guessing you mean approved RMT there.

Personally, I don't see why you can't have fun AND make cash. But hey..

I agree, Please. I did "indeed" jump to a conclusion there. I realised it after I posted. This is probably the most common mistake that causes more flame wars on any kind of forum, not that we're going to get into a flame war here.

But it's hard to say....sor....sorr.....ahh, hell, I regret it, ok?

Still, it's good to get that point out.

"Which still doesn’t make it good for a game, as it does harm to the games economy, and even influences game play in other ways to curtail it’s effects, which in turn makes the game less playable for other players. “Please” indeed!"

Thank you for finding in my one line statement what I didn't say at all: that RMT does no harm to MMOGs. Indeed, PLEASE!

Andrew,

I don't think there was a implication of RMT being 'evil' in my observation.

However, since you asked... I don't think RMT is enjoyable for me personally, and I would never participate in a game that had it - for enjoyment, because if I'm going to compete on a financial level, it's going to be to increase my fiscal capabilities in the real world.

Artheos, the fact they're talking about working with companies...suggests at the very least they've got a new policy direction, no? "RMT" is not a byword for evil or anything. Lots of MMO's have RMT built-in.
