Makes Sense To Me!

When you have thousands of prisoners at your beck and call, there’s clearly only one thing to do: restage 1980′s music videos.

More on this on the BBC.

I’m having trouble forming a cogent opinion on this. The buy-in from the inmates seems to be tremendous. I can’t really decide if this is a Bad or Good thing.

  • Merkwurdigliebe

I stand corrected; THAT is the wackiest thing I’ve ever heard of. I guess it beats being shanked with a shiv…or is it shivved with a shank?

    From the article:

Other early choices included In the Navy and YMCA by the Village People, which were chosen so that macho inmates “wouldn’t be offended by being asked to dance”.

    Truly awesome-o.

Might want to take a look at this

before you make up your mind about that too.

I’m Captain Basch fon Ronsenberg of Dalmasca!

Not surprised. The amount of uniformity, eepecialy from the people one the side lines (those not interested in the dance, or not good enough), is too well coordinated. You need more incentive than “exercise” to match up that well with others especialy if you don’t want to. A beating, pretty good incentive.

I would be amazed to learn that prisoner maltreatment is going on here.

  • Erkht

Oh the humanity!! Geneva Convention anyone??

  • Etain P

Oh man, American prisoners have just been Served.

And the director of the prison responded to the “truth” video with this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ped4iE-xeKs

One thing is for sure. He has nothing to learn on “how to post responses to criticisms on the net, aka Flaming 101″. O.o

Well, at least they’ll have a skill when they get out, I guess. In a few years they backup dancer market will be flooded with Philipeno ex-cons.
