In response, Fred Thompson’s campaign accused Huckabee of confusing celebrity and politics. No, really. Without irony and everything.

    You guys are being too hard on him! That was actually kind of funny. How many political candidates are willing to demonstrate any real sense of humor at all? Sure, it’s dated but I mean…he’s a Republican. At least he’s aware YouTube exists beyond reading about its acquisition.

    As cynical as I am, this one actually brought a slight chuckle to my frozen, forlorn heart.

    I mean come on, the only other major Chuck Norris ad is that terrible Mountain Dew spot. This is much better.

    Besides, Chuck Norris jokes may be long played out, but watching people respond to them with choleric rage in all caps will never get old.

    Too bad I like the policies of Ron Paul and Kucinich more. Can you imagine the increased coverage from the interwebs Ron Paul would have gotten if he had secured the “Chuck Norris Approved” seal before Huckabee?
