    I think WE are the joke. :)

    It’s weird what “the Internet” will find “funney” but I think it’s a combo of the video being a little out of context, and the “hayseed” quality of the weatherman who is a foil to the female host.

    As a Haitian I would have said “the downside being you live in Haiti”. See, that way you’re insulting a government that is worthy of your derision, rather than making a somewhat racist remark against a people.

    I don’t get it.

    What others are saying is forced laughing appears to me like he has a goofy laugh and is amused by some sort of inside joke.

    It sounds to me as if he is either stoned or drunk or both. The laugh at the end reinforces that impression. Funny in any case. :)
