PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY.

That means you LOOK at the game. You find out what the ESRB rating is. You ask a few folks ‘Hey, is this a good game for little Timmy?’.

Nowadays, responsibility is a dirty word.

Letting your ten year old play play FPSs may be the moral equivelent of giving him a penthouse to read.

An empty suit like Blago attacks video games because he literally has no moral principles. His decision tree for life is “What gives me the most immediate benefit?”

The whole “video games are corrupting our society” thing only has traction with people who are entirely unaware that the internet exists.
