To whoever asked about mirrors: The thing about mirrors is that they *don't* flip the horizontal. Mirrors flip the depth axis.

Normally, if you were to move to where you are in the mirror, you'd get there by rotating 180 degrees about the center of the mirror. This involves flipping both the depth and horizontal axes. But, because mirrors flip only one axis, things don't match the behaviour under rotation.

The only reason why we complain about it being left & right that don't match up, rather than up and down, (or diagonal) is because we normally never walk around on our heads. The symmetry breaking is entirely in our heads.

Oh, good. An easy place to brush up on some of your past.

Bridge tolls? That shit never worked. Unless you used it as an excuse to murder. Then it sorta worked. But really, murder needs no reason.

A: The best things in life are free, but if you want even better, the item shop is there.

I've got to admit, that trumps both Conan and Lum's answers.

Granted, what currency the item shop of life takes is a question with many dreadful answers.

I find myself stumped in terms of how tongue-in-cheek I should be on an earnest form asking me to ask you things.

Dear Lum the Mad,
What are the best things in life?
