    I don’t see it connecting to the Internet, so it’s probably getting fed the information from a connected PC.  Still, pretty cool to see the Apple ][e hardware being utilized as such.

    Probably they were real feeds that were translated onto the floppy. Probably not even real time. Making a IIe work with a modern Ethernet connector would be a feat of epic proportions.

    Honestly, neither are the current Macs. All they are now is a PC with a custom FreeBSD OS.

    I seem to recall there being a ProDOS compatible Ethernet card for the IIe/IIgs machines in the early 90s aimed at the educational market.
    And, if not, they could always be using dial-up.
