AFTER ULTIMA 9, I’D WANT TO WIPE THE SLATE CLEAN TOO [Author: Lum the Mad]
Gamespy has a new interview up with one of the more closely watched ex-EA employees, Richard “Still Lord British Dammit” Garriott.
Not a great deal new in this one, although it does give a list of employees for his Destinations Games company, including ex-UO2 programming lead Jeremy Gaffney and former UO producer Carly Staehlin. Garriott’s Mysterious Seekrit Project is also referred to as “Tabula Rasa”.
As far as Destination’s first project, Garriott personally refers to it as “Tabularasa,” which means “blank slate.” While he wasn’t prepared to go into any details at this point, pretty much anything he’s said thus far about ideas for a game design still stand. 🙂
Cool, I’ve always wanted a continuation of those Ultima 8 jumping puzzles.
