Ok, I just built a Linux client and put a silly README file together, and stuck it up on the web-site. ftp://ftp.owo.com/pub/uo/client/linux/ is the directory containing the README, and client-glibc2.1.i386; the client is a binary built on RH6.0, so that’s probably your best bet to get it working, but other glibc2.1 systems may have good luck, too.
