THIS JUST IN: BLOGGING CAN CAUSE NONSENSICAL WORDS

From the BBC comes this:

Increasingly, people are landing in hot water with employers over blogs about their work.

A new term has emerged as a result. According to UrbanDictionary.com, to be “dooced” means “losing your job for something you wrote in your online blog, journal, website, etc.”

I’d note that Your Humble Narrator’s employers have been aware of his odd hobby of pontificating in HTML for the 6 or so years he’s indulged in it, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to cause any issues unless I post the Seekrit Design Dockuments or make fun of #insert_coworker_here or something similarly tasteless.

I just found the word hysterical. “Dooced”? Who comes up with this stuff? Jesus. Let’s have a better word. I submit: Bangalored.
