Why didn’t we think of this before!

From Gamespot, this commentator wants to know why we haven’t designed a PvP MMO with player justice and permadeath yet.

If an MMORPG were designed to include well-implemented permadeath, player versus player, justice, skill, combat, out-of-combat, and building systems, it could jump-start the entire genre.

If an MMORPG were designed to include well-implemented ponies, I could have a pony. Why can’t I have a pony?
